John Sonday Studio/Garage, Nashville, TN
3/14 Barton Organ

The John Sonday Barton Organ was assembled by our firm using original Barton organ components or replicas fabricated as needed. The the reason for constructing a Barton instrument started with the Barton Console from the Gateway Theatre, Kenosha, WI  which belonged to John’s parents, Lorraine and Claude Sonday. Then the Barton organ components from the Birmingham Theatre, Birmingham, MI were purchased to supply the core instrument components.  The organ project took many years in which to acquire the organ parts, restore and construct a new instrument from those parts and for the new Garage/ Studio to be constructed.
